John Rondeau
In the Name of God Amen
I John Rondeau of the parish of Christ Church in the County of Middlesex being in perfect health of body and of sound and disposing mind and memory and calling to mind the frailty of human nature the uncertainty of the period of its dissolution and the Eternal Existance of my Immortal Soul do with deep contrition for my manifold offences and sincere Thankfulness for the Innumerable blessings I have reciev[e]d and a lively hope of a happy immortality Earnestly recommending my Immortal Spirit to the mercy of him who gave it and my body to be decently buried according to the rite of the Church of England and as to such worldly Goods wherewith it hath pleased Almighty God to bless me of whatsoever kind quality or Estimated Value w[h]ether in possession or lawfully entitled to the possession of at the time of my decease I give and bequeath to my loving wife Margaret Rondeau. Also I do Constitute and appoint the above said Margaret Rondeau sole Ex[ecu]trix of this my last will and Testament and I hereby declare this to be my last will and Testament In Witness whereof I have this 27th Day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty nine set my hand and seal John Rondeau signed seald and deliverd in the presence of George Ashton and Saml Ashton

On further considering the uncertainty of this life I leave to my wife's daughter Sarah Robert at the death of my wife all that I have left to my wife and I further leave the said Sarah Robert full and whole Executrix of this my last will and Testament In witness whereof I have this Day set my hand and seal in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and eighty nine 13th July John Rondeau Witness George Ashton and SamlAshton

This will was proved at London with a codicil the thirteenth day of November in the year of our lord one thousand seven hundred and ninety before the worshipful John Nicholl Doctor of Laws Surrogate of the Right Hon[oura]ble Sir William Wynne Knight Doctor of Laws Master Keeper or Commissary of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oath of Margaret Rondeau widow the relict of the deceased and sole Executrix named in the said will to whom administration was granted of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased having been first sworn duly to administer.
